Shut up and Smile...
!Ted || Hello again!

jason-marcus-abernathy:

Jason was very slowly getting back into touch with his friends, it seemed. He found himself with less time to himself and he wasn’t sure how he felt about it- On one hand, he loved being able to talk and spend time with everyone again. On the other hand, he didn’t seem to have time to grieve anymore. It was probably a good thing, as it kept him from going back to that dark place he’d been in after the funeral.

That was where he was when he walked into the library that afternoon, slowly slipping back into the dark and unforgiving place in his mind, where there was nothing but anger and unhappiness for him that caused him to lash out at people. When he caught sight of Ted sitting close by, he felt immensely relieved and hesitated only slightly before going over and sitting across from him, smiling shyly. It had been a very long time since he’d last seen Ted. More than a month, to be exact. “H-.. Hullo, T-Ted.”

Ted was buried in his potions essay finding it extremely difficult to concentrate. His mind kept wandering. It seemed to be everywhere at the moment. Wavering between subjects and people. But Ted kept thinking about something that confused him more then ever. He kept thinking of a beautiful smart and breathtaking girl. A girl that made him want to smile every time she smiled. But that girl wasn’t Mary Macdonald. It wasn’t his girlfriend. And he felt so guilty, but he just couldn’t stop thinking about her. He couldn’t stop thinking about Andromeda Black.

Cursing under his breath he put down his quill and ran a hand through his hair. He really needed a distraction. And then suddenly someone took the seat opposite. Jason Abernathy. Before he could even try to stop it a huge smile spread across Ted’s face. He hadn’t seen Jay in ages. “JASON!” He practically shouted, earning a few pointed stares and a ‘shh’ing from the librarian. Ted then lowered his voice before smiling again. “Oh Merlin Jason it’s been years…” Then all the memory’s of what had happened flooded back and his smile fell slightly. He’d been walking past the corridor when they had taken out the body. Ted had seen the blood. It had etched itself into his mind. Ted had been instructed to get people back to their common rooms even though he wasn’t a prefect. It had been hard not to show his fear though. ”How are you feeling?”
